The person not using the game pad uses the TV screen and the player using the WiiU gamepad just uses the built in screen!
You can play offline multiplayer at home with a friend and an additional controller. The other really cool feature of the game is that just by pressing the left trigger you can turn into squid and swim through your own paint - even swimming up walls! When you’re swimming in the paint you’re basically invisible to the enemy so you can do sneak attacks - but be careful because if you’re in squid form and happen to swim into enemy paint (or they hit you with paint) you’ll be slowed and all the more vulnerable. Of course the other team is trying to do the same thing and that’s where the fun comes in. Rather than shooting bullets, you’re equipped with a paintgun and the main objective isn’t to shoot each other (but you can!) it’s actually to cover the world with as much paint as you possibly can. It’s a third person shooter for the whole family.
Here are my top pics for new games hitting the shelves this summer…įirst up – the title I’m personally most excited about: SPLATOON! This is the first new game franchise from Nintendo in nearly 15 years. So I say: Avoid the hassles and stay inside playing video games! But if you’re like me, the sun hurts your eyes and burns your skin while allergies inflame your sinuses. Summer is here! We can finally go outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.
